Projects
Select list of projects I've worked on. Some (read: most) are confidential, however, in time I'll be able to discuss these in full. This page is a work in progress, and will have more information added and likely link off to new pages with more information around why I choose certain methods and how I carried them out.
Continued Bonds: Towards the Design of Computationally Creative Bereavement Support
Lead User Researcher
Conducted a series of 4 studies to explore novel ways to support the bereaved. My approach was chiefly qualitative to ensure I captured the diversity and richness of experience. However, when relevant quantitative measures were employed to measure key metrics (i.e.psychological ownership of co-created possession and the impact of systems).
Confidential #1
Lead User Researcher
Research led project to identify opportunities to enter new markets. Culminated in a product passed into wider business backlog.
Interview based generative research to understand context space and discover user needs of 3 separate user groups from which I supported the ideation of a concept and value proposition
that I iteratively tested with people from each group through moderated concept testing.
Confidential #2
Lead User Researcher
Research led project to identify opportunities to enter new markets. Culminated in a product currently in development.
Interview and survey based generative research into evaluative (un)moderated concept testing, with plans for usability and impact assessments upon going live.
Confidential #3
Lead User Researcher
Research led project to identify opportunities to enter new markets. Culminated in a product currently in development.
Generative interview based discovery research into evaluative moderated concept testing, and prototype testing in sandbox environment.
This project required a lot of collaboration between our team and potential external partners. These collaborations ranged from co-creation sessions to proof of concept.
Confidential #4
Lead User Researcher
Ongoing project about to begin validation.
Interviews were conducted with people from 3 key user groups, and a large scale survey was run to further steer our direction. Opportunity areas supportive of a disruptive value proposition that solves user problems have been identified, and are set to be tested.
